Reiki ist die allumfassende Energie, die \u00fcberall, in allem und immer vorhanden ist. Sie ist die Grundlage, die Essenz, der Ursprung allen Lebens, die Ur-Energie oder auch \u201cg\u00f6ttliche Urkraft\u201d. Reiki durchdringt alle Ebenen und bringt diese ins Gleichgewicht.<\/p>\n

Reiki ist eine sehr alte Heilmethode, die bereits vor \u00fcber 2500 Jahren in Sanskrit-Sutras erw\u00e4hnt wurde. Und auch F\u00fcnfzehntausendjahre alte H\u00f6hlenmalereien sollen bereits Fragmente dieser Technik zeigen. Der tats\u00e4chliche Ursprung ist jedoch unbekannt. \u00dcberlieferungen zufolge haben aber schon Buddha und Jesus mit dieser Methode geheilt.<\/p>\n

Die traditionelle Reiki-Legende beginnt im 19ten Jahrhundert, mit Dr. Mikao Usui, einem japanischen Gelehrten und Priester, der nach der Heilmethode Jesu forschte. Nach \u00fcber 7 Jahre stie\u00df er in einer in Sanskrit geschrieben Schriftrolle auf die Beschreibung und Symbole einer Methode zur Heilung durch g\u00f6ttliche Lebensenergien, mit der bereits Buddha und Jesus geheilt haben sollen. Um dieses Wissen auch anwenden zu k\u00f6nnen, entschied er sich zu einer 21t\u00e4gigen Fastenmeditation auf einem der heiligen Berge Japans. Am 21. Tag wurde Dr. Usui von einem Lichtstrahl vom Himmel kommend direkt auf seiner Stirn getroffen. Der Lichtstrahl enthielt die Bilder und Symbole, die er zuvor entdeckt hatte und brannten sich fest in ihn ein. Dies war seine g\u00f6ttliche Einweihung und bef\u00e4higte ihn, die Reiki-Kraft weiterzugeben.<\/p>\n

Er gr\u00fcndete in Japan eine Reiki-Klinik, wo er viele Menschen behandelte und einweihte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Die uns heute bekannte \u00dcberlieferung besagt, dass Dr. Chujiro Hayashi direkt von Dr. Mikao Usui als sein Nachfolger eingeweiht wurde. Dieser weihte Frau Hawayo Takata aus Hawaii ein, die wiederum ihre Nachfolge an Dr. Barbara Ray sowie an ihre Enkelin Phyllis Lei Furumoto weiter gab.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So verbreitete sich Reiki in den Westen und damit auch viele unterschiedliche Erz\u00e4hlungen der Geschichte und verschiedene Str\u00f6mungen.<\/p>\n
